After graduating with a degree in art and graphic design, Kristine Allphin Brakenhoff began her career in creative advertising agencies.  She began experimenting in batik in 2011 and has continued to attempt to master this difficult medium. She has won numerous awards including the Nebraska Arts Council, Fred Simon exhibit, Norfolks Art Center, Best of Show and Best of Show, Stuhr Museum, Wings over the Platte  and even a batik  featured in a Hollywood movie.  Her works can be found in collections across the United States and as far away as Canada and Sri Lanka where the art of  batik is highly prized,

Kevin Houchin's work is a dance between intention and chance.  Kevin’s diverse background includes experience as an  author, intellectual property attorney, admissions marketing/branding consultant, professional/personal development coach and artist who's preferred medium is batik.

He explains " I think of each engagement with a piece of art, as the artist or as the viewer, has become an act of faith – a dance with intention and chance."

A native Iowan, Kevin lives with his wife and their three children in Fort Collins, Colorado
